Wabbit

Now don't be fooled, this child has no interest in veggies. But this was just enough entertainment with the long tails attached and vivid orange color that edible or not, it was going in the mouth. This just comically furthers her resemblance to Elmer Fudd.

Table Dancing

Now, I've always joked that the key to being a good parent is being sure that my daughter doesn't "end up on the pole", and that sounds easy enough. Little did I know that the table dancing would start at such an early age. I clearly have a long road ahead of me. I tried many times to discourage it, but she was determined to climb on up there. Then she pee'd on her cheese. And that's not an analogy. Literally, she pee'd on her cheese - which quickly ended her table dance for good.

Magic Blanket

I have discovered that this heavy and super soft chenille blanket is magic for Izzy. For some reason this blanket has secured much longer naps and even a 7 hour stretch the night before last! I'm slightly concerned that it's such a big blanket for a little person, but she doesn't seem to move an inch when under it's spell. So magic blanket it is, while the magic lasts!

"helpiing" in the garden

While working on the house in Reseda to get it ready to rent,. Izzy's favorite activity has been digging in the dirt. We are working hard to allow her this pleasure while not disturbing the lovely garden that the previous tenants left behind. She's beginning to work on climbing onto things and pulling herself up. And the duck floating the pool in the backyard has been entertaining and torture at the same time. "DOOOOO!!"

The Pointer

We were out today for a jaunt across elysian park, when it came to my attention, that izzy's a pointer now! every bird, dog and child that was in her view was in her pointer laser beam! oh what an exciting world to discover! so much so that pointing even won over afternoon naps for the last two days. phew!
